Located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, our Victoria-based camper van building business is driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to quality. We believe that every detail matters, which is why our small, dedicated team focuses on optimizing designs and systems to create camper vans that are both functional and beautiful.

What sets us apart is our strong connection to the local community. We proudly partner with over 10 local suppliers, including skilled metal fabricators, expert powder coaters, and talented seamstresses. By using locally designed and built components, we ensure that every van we create is a testament to the best of what our region has to offer.

Our love for building things properly means that we don’t cut corners. From the initial design to the final touches, we are committed to delivering a camper van that not only meets but exceeds your expectations.

The Journey.

Building customizable, high-quality and capable vehicles is a journey. Typically this is how a Apex Van build will progress from start to finish.

Initial Contact - We discuss your needs and vision for your vehicle and provide an estimate on cost.
Van Order - If you haven’t ordered your van yet; we work closely with a local Dealership that can provide favourable rates as well as financing. We have a Factory Option sheet that is best suited for a Apex Van build too. There are 22 colours and 2 wheelbase lengths to choose from.
Customization/Design - The fun part! We’ll sit down and discuss your options on colours, fabrics, design characteristics, layout and finishes.
Pre-Delivery - Canadian market Mercedes Vans are built in Stuttgart, Germany. We can monitor delivery estimates and prepare essential components and materials before your van arrives. This time allows us to finalize your design and be ready to hit the ground running.
Build - The fun part for us! We get to work crafting your dream van. If any constraints arise or improved design options present themselves we’ll keep in close contact. We’ll provide routine updates electronically over the progress as well as in-person visits if logistics allow.
Delivery - Keys are handed over. A half-day tour understanding systems, equipment and various functions of the van ensure our customers are knowledgeable from the get-go.
Warranty and Support - We are proud to over a Lifetime of Ownership guarantee that covers build quality as well as a extended Mercedes-Benz Warranty. We are always on hand to provide information or support if need be.

This results in a lasting vehicle you can take pride in. There's a notable difference between a factory-produced van and a custom adventure vehicle made with the finest materials, assembled by dedicated experts.
